Overview

Business Analysts play a key role in supporting our internal customers and driving application and business process transformation. We welcome you to join our dynamic team and work with passionate analysts, developers, and business users to solve key system-related problems and improve existing processes. You will partner with Human Resources and Payroll to reshape the way HR Information Systems (HRIS) support our business.

Responsibilities



  • Collaborate with colleagues to create new or improve existing business workflows
  • Challenge assumptions to help drive innovative solutions
  • Learn the multiple HR/Payroll systems that HRIS supports to perform minor enhancement configuration
  • Participate in vendor user acceptance testing for system upgrades
  • Document colleague requests and issues as user stories
  • Develop strong working relationships across Esri to enable effective communication
  • Triage support tickets and be the first responder to work with users to gather details on the issue to troubleshoot and resolve production issues or pass off to a more senior Business Analyst on the team
  • Create support tickets in ServiceNow for production issues, user requests, and system enhancements
  • Become a data expert on HR/Payroll employee data by reviewing data exception reports to make sure data has synced correctly between systems
  • Assist with HR and Payroll data audits to ensure that benefits and payroll data is correct


Requirements



  • 1 year of previous experience in HR and/or Payroll
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to effectively interact will all departments and levels of staff
  • Independent self-starter who can work with minimal direction and isn't afraid to make recommendations to improve processes
  • Understand technical jargon and possess the ability to communicate it in layman's terms
  • Excellent computer skills including the MS Office suite
  • Bachelor's in Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field


Recommended Qualifications



  • Ability to analyze and document business processes
  • Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
  • Knowledge of MS Access

$66,560 $79,040 USD
