The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Revenue Cycle Business Partner (RCBP) to serve as a key player in driving revenue cycle excellence. This critical role involves collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to support best-in-class revenue operations with a focus on revenue preservation, field friction mitigation, education, and account management.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Cycle Support:



  • Serve as a strategic partner and trusted advisor for Commercial teams, addressing complex revenue cycle field needs and fostering strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Collaborate with Revenue Cycle Operations to identify inefficiencies and implement solutions to optimize performance and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Provide high touch consultative revenue cycle support to existing and new blue chip accounts.


Education:



  • Design and deliver tailored educational programs for healthcare providers and account stakeholders on topics like coding, reimbursement protocols, and documentation requirements.
  • Create innovative materials, including webinars, training manuals, and FAQs, to support ongoing education efforts.
  • Increase awareness of financial assistance programs and options through strategic outreach.
  • Share industry insights and best practices to position iRhythm as a leader in revenue cycle management.


Issue Identification and Resolution:



  • Proactively identify and address access and reimbursement challenges, focusing on high-impact payer issues.
  • Lead investigations into payer-related problems, using data to develop strategic action plans.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and escalation point for complex billing, reimbursement, and compliance concerns.


Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:



  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with key stakeholders, including Market Access, Payer Relations, Sales teams, and C-suite executives focusing on collaboration, shared goals, streamlining billing processes and ROI.
  • Work closely with field sales teams to address coverage issues, enhance reimbursement strategies, and optimize financial outcomes.
  • Act as a liaison between Revenue Cycle Operations and the Commercial team to ensure effective communication and alignment.


Compliance and Reporting:



  • Ensure all activities adhere to regulatory standards, including HIPAA compliance.
  • Analyze and interpret revenue cycle performance reports, using insights to recommend process improvements.
  • Demonstrate business acumen and financial awareness to support the organization's profitability and growth.


Continuous Improvement:



  • Foster a culture of learning and innovation by identifying and implementing process enhancements.
  • Gather feedback from healthcare providers and internal teams to improve the revenue cycle experience.
  • Leverage expertise to establish best practices that set iRhythm apart in revenue cycle management.


Qualifications

Required:



  • 5+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree, or 3 years with a master's degree, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 5 years in managerial-level healthcare billing, coding, or reimbursement roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare billing, coding, payer-specific requirements, and revenue cycle best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to analyze financial data to identify trends.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and project management skills.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive improvements without direct authority.


Preferred:



  • Experience in a clinical, medical device, or healthcare revenue cycle role.
  • CPC Certification is strongly preferred.


Travel Requirements:



  • This client-facing role requires up to 40% travel.

Actual compensation may vary depending on job-related factors including knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.

Estimated Pay Range
$85,000 $120,000 USD
