JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Performs moderately complex technical tasks which contribute to the planning and execution of engineering projects. May serve as a resource on varied tasks.
* Works with peers / engineers to build and test commercial aircraft seats and furniture
* Provides technical support to engineers on a variety of tasks.
* Confer with engineers on details and implications of test article build, test procedures and results.
* Occasional overtime including weekends will be required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Must be a US Citizen
* Associate's degree (AA/AS) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and minimum 3
years related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Proficient with variety of hand tools
* Proficient with basic mechanical and manufacturing concepts.
* Basic computer proficiency.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel.
* Working knowledge of engineering drawing interpretations.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Experience in a highly regulated industry, especially aerospace or automotive
* Experience working in a testing and quality assurance environment
* Well organized with solid judgment; able to multitask and adjust to changing priorities in a fast -paced
environment.
* Demonstrated knowledge of metal machining and fabrication equipment
