Learning & Development Specialist II

Analyzes the delivery, development and implementation of corporate or divisional training curriculum and/or development programs. Conducts program evaluations and handles ongoing administration of training and development programs. Implements tools, practices, and approaches to facilitate learning that directly supports and effectively meets the needs of participants.

Responsibilities

• Delivers and facilitates routine to moderately complex training programs to employees and management.
• Collaborates with business area resources and other CX L&P team members to review, analyze, modify, and improve CX L&P programs including training materials, e-learning modules, job aids, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Consults/Partners with business area subject matter experts to determine learning needs.
• Collaborates with team members to develop learning solutions and execute on delivery.
• Gathers and utilizes feedback data to analyze the impact of training and L&P initiatives.
• Keeps abreast of current trends and best practices within the learning and development industry and shares new ideas and approaches that can elevate the impact of the L&P team.
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Education or related field.
• 3 years experience as a Learning & Development Specialist or equivalent experience in adult learning or organizational development, preferably in a financial services environment.

Professional Certification(s)

• Certified Professional Trainer preferred (or continued progress towards designation).

Technical Skills and Knowledge

• Knowledge of and the ability to apply more progressive instructional design theories and adult learning principles.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
• Knowledge of building/using online learning authoring systems.
