Responsibilities

The GPP PD Manufacturing position plays a significant role in our success in delivering current product and new products to our dealers and customers. This role stays engaged with manufacturing personnel and processes to participate in manufacturing operations that impact current product. This includes: manufacturing processes, supplier quality and/or resourcing, attending quality audits, understanding cost changes and the potential impact on gross margin. For new product programs this role is a key resource to ensure that activities between Manufacturing and Product Development remain cohesive, on plan and in line with the intentions of the new product programs. These activities begin at the very first milestone and continue all the way through OK to Ship and Early Warning. The overall goal is to achieve the New Product Program's objectives for the customer, dealers and company.

RESPONSIBILTIES & DELIVERABLES

    Participate at business case development phase providing manufacturing feasibility/constrains
  • Within GPPs, support technical feasibility, design and prototyping & testing. Ensure Advanced Manufacturing provides daily feedback to design engineers throughout design cycles.
  • Works with quality/production managers to ensure process development and implementation through every step of GPD process.
  • Leads Manufacturing line set up, manufacturing plan roll out, MBOM1 development.
  • Complete ownership of the manufacturing impact on product performance
  • Owns the corrective actions required to address field issues with manufacturing root cause
  • Drives technology advancements in the plants for both new and current product to achieve quality and profitability objectives.
  • Drives consistent manufacturing approaches across global footprint Looks for synergies across global footprint producing the same or similar products (tooling design, fabrication and assembly processes)
  • Provide benchmarking with best competitors' strategy in terms of Product industrialization and manufacturing

The annual salary for this role is $145,000 - $210,000 (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)



Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing and/or Business
  • 10 plus years of experience in managing processes in product development, manufacturing and/or quality

Preferred:

  • Consolidated experience in managerial jobs within AG Products Plant, ME or Platforms
  • Strong knowledge of Product and/or Process Engineering
  • Solid knowledge of plant footprint of supported products in terms of organization, management, skills set, technical processes and reliability
  • Strong Project Management skills; ability to influence/integrate targets within plants context; fluid communication and team working
  • Owning a 360 view of Manufacturing's impact and contribution for Product value definition and creation, having a clear understanding that Process excellence is part of Product excellence for Customer satisfaction
