The Production Scheduler (Production Scheduler II internally) is responsible for creating, scheduling, and releasing production orders to manufacturing, ensuring that all necessary materials and resources are available. The role involves close coordination with the Materials Manager, Warehouse staff, and Material Handlers to prioritize inventory transfers and manage the flow of materials to support production. The Production Scheduler will proactively manage work orders to meet production schedules and address material shortages by liaising with Material Planners and Buyers. This role also involves creating and maintaining dispatch lists and assisting with pick lists for warehouse personnel. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS This role's key responsibilities are:
