Desktop Support Intern

We currently have an exciting new opportunity for a Desktop Support Intern working with our End User Computing Support Services Team at HealthPartners. ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Performs hardware and software configuration and installation services
• Performs hardware and software troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, point of sale devices, iPads, iPods, etc.
• Participates in End User Computing and facility projects as needed
• Uses the ServiceNow ticketing system to update tickets with status and resolution information
• Maintains computer asset records with accuracy
• Follows all required policies and procedures

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High school diploma/GED
• Valid, unrestricted driver's license and reliable transportation
• Must be able to lift at least 20lbs
• Background check required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Current student or recent graduate in a secondary education program or certification program focusing on information technology
• Desktop support experience is a plus

OTHER DETAILS:

• 40 hours per week
• Hours will vary between 7am to 5pm Monday through Friday
• May be requested to work alternate shifts in support of projects
• May be requested to travel to other sites as needed
