The group's main business is the implementation of mission critical digital mobile communication systems for Government & Public Safety Communications customers. Job Description Navy ELMR is geographically the largest, most complex ASTRO 25 system in the world. The "Documentation Engineer" will have responsibility for development, delivery and maintenance of all technical documentation required to meet contractual obligations under direction of the Team Lead. While primary responsibility consists of detailed Installation Design Plans and As-Built drawings, additional artifacts include Network Drawings, Power Plans, Rack Drawings, Floor Plans, technical SOPs and others. The Engineer will work with other Engineers and Draftsmen in pursuit of the goals set forth by the Program and will be responsible for meeting delivery deadlines and quality objectives. Inputs needed for documentation efforts will be procured through photographs, redlined drawings, phone calls and audits which will require occasional travel, up to 50%, at times. The Documentation Engineer will work under the guidance of the Team Lead. Responsibilities:
