Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite for our client in Melbourne, FL, Interested? Here's what you'll do: Conduct research, analyze, and evaluate of suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, production and distribution capabilities, and the supplier's reputation and history Prepare & execute purchase orders, solicit bid proposals, and review requisitions for goods/services Purchase the highest quality merchandise at the lowest possible price and in correct amounts Maintain program material budgets, quality, and schedule to specifications as well as applicable laws and regulations Work with Planner to level load component purchases based on demand schedule Assist with analyzing price proposals, financial reports, and bid & proposal efforts Negotiate, renegotiate with suppliers, vendors, and other representatives Monitor shipments to ensure that goods come in on time/resolve problems related to undelivered or unacceptable goods/services and determine corrective action Here's what you'll get: Pay : $60k+/Year Based on Experience Hours: 40 Hours / week Length: Temp to Direct Does that sound like a good fit? Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Buyer Minimum of 2 years' experience in Manufacturing Preferred Skills / Qualifications: Knowledge of cost of materials in manufacturing Knowledge with electromechanical parts Additional Information: Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
