Summary
The Renewables Analyst will be responsible supporting origination and development of utility scale projects in support of NYPA's strategies and New York State targets.The Analyst will help NYPA Renewables transition from its current early stage to a mature, stable and integrated organization within NYPA, that allows NYPA to drive origination, innovation, and growth through strategic climate change investments in Renewables. In addition to leading transmission growth, this team acts as industry change agents supporting utility scale solar, wind integration, energy storage policies, and overall policy and regulation shifts to support electrification and the changing transmission system within New York and how it collaborates with other states/RTO/ISOs. Projects span across various technologies and applications including but not limited to renewable energy, energy storage and transmission. The Analyst will utilize data analytics, BI and analytical tools like Power BI and MS Excel to perform various technical analysis and economic analysis in support of development projects. The Analyst should have a strong understanding of financial modeling, project budgeting, forecasting and planning; and the ability to perform Business Intelligence (BI) analysis. #LI-JP1 Responsibilities

The salary offered will be determined based on the successful candidates' relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
