Duties and Responsibilities |
This full-time position plays a key role in the successful operation of Loyola University Retreat and Ecology Campus (
LUREC). Located in Woodstock, IL and situated on 98 acres of land,
LUREC, which is a 200-bed facility, hosts Loyola University student, staff and faculty retreats as well as events and retreats for outside organizations. The Event Specialist will be responsible for the following:
* Answer incoming phone calls and assisting callers with their inquires.
* Respond to online inquiries and RFPs.
* Schedule and conduct site visits of
LUREC.
* Create and send contracts to prospective clients.
* Create and send out Housing Lists and Retreat Worksheets to clients.
* Check-in and check-out guests at the Front Desk.
* Assist guests with questions and resolve guest issues.
* Communicate information to all departments within
LUREC.
* Send out invoices to clients.
* Assist with special projects as needed. |
