As our Account Manager, you will work closely with the Inside Sales/Customer Support team and top tier customers to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. You will have the opportunity to make a positive impact within our organization and be the main line of communication between customers and internally with various departments within the organization.

Qualifications & Requirements:



  • Bachelor's Degree or 7+ years experience in a Senior Inside Sales/Account Management role
  • Minimum 5 years working for a manufacturing company
  • Military and Government industry customer experience is essential


  • Exceptional communication and feedback skills
  • Proven ability to handle customer escalations and resolve high-stakes issues in a timely manner.

What will you be Accountable for?



  • Monitor and grow top tier customer accounts including pre and post sales inquiries, including price quotations, order entry, delivery/lead times, expedites and other related requirements
  • Develop a thorough understanding of our products and service offerings to better upsell and cross-sell to clients
  • Ensure quotes and customer orders are efficiently captured within the ERP system, provided and confirmed with customers in a timely manner and followed up on for efficiency
  • Contract review of sales orders processed by the team of customer service reps for accuracy
  • Lead by example and coach customer support reps to achieve and maintain top tier performance in quality of work, productivity and customer account growth
  • Proactively manage the CRM platform (Salesforce) to maintain the latest information for customers and proposals/program updates



How will you Collaborate?

Work collaboratively with Product Management, Field Sales, Quality, Engineering and Operations teams on customer requirements. Including preparing quotations, validating order requirements and other requirements as they arise. Collaborate with Production/Planning to ensure accurate lead times and that order status updates are available & provided to customers in a timely manner.
