Job Description

We are currently hiring a Storeroom Supervisor, in Breinigsville, PA.

Provides supervision, accurately maintains the inventory/ purchasing system, and oversees the storeroom to support the manufacturing/facility needs. Executes and supports maintenance on assigned shifts to achieve the desired results in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Morale amongst the maintenance team.

What You'll Brew:

* Strong floor presence and employee-engaging leadership style

* Participate in and ensure teams are following new processes and projects related to

Continuous Improvement efforts. (Lean, Kaizen activities)

* Supervises and coordinates activities of employees concerned with ordering, receiving,

storing, inventorying, issuing, and shipping materials, supplies, tools, equipment, and

parts in the stockroom and brewery. Including skills development, task assignments and

coordination of overtime.

* Accurate and timely reporting of hours worked for payroll purposes.

* Directs the activities of the Storeroom team in the performance of assigned duties to ensure

the parts and storeroom are maintained at levels consistent with company specifications.

* Advises team members on the care and preservation of items received, stored, shipped,

methods and use of equipment in handling, storing, maintaining, and shipping stock, and

related problems.

* Plans layout of stockroom, warehouse, and other storage areas, considering turnover,

size, weight, and related factors of items stored.

* Studies records and recommends remedial actions for reported non-usable, slow-moving,

and excess stock.

* Review records for accuracy of information and compliance with established procedures

and determine the adequacy of stock levels.

* Schedules work for unique and periodic inventories. Traces the history of items to determine

reasons for discrepancies between the inventory and stock-control records and recommends

remedial actions to resolve discrepancies.

* May supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in retrieving and signing out

inventory in stockroom

* Supports the maintenance technicians in ordering parts

* Purchases materials while ensuring fiscal responsibility

* Review purchase requisitions

* Works in the AMMS system to track inventory and compile monthly expenditure reports

* Implements process enhancements to improve utilization of parts storage

* Utilizes visual factory concepts to maximize asset utilization, creates labels, marks shelves,

and storage locations for easy accessibility and ordering of materials

* Tracks standard manufacturing and warehouse measures and prioritizes plant

maintenance opportunities

* Assist in the development and implementation of capital and plant productivity projects

Physical Requirements
* All production roles are required to pass a pre-employment physical exam to comply with their
specific role requirement(s)
* Certain roles may require the use of a respirator and passing the associated fit test
* Ability to lift to 50lbs, sometimes repeatedly
* Regular walking and standing for long periods (up to 11 hours a day) on concrete, metal
and grated surfaces
* Responsibilities may require crouching, stepping over, crawling under, bending, twisting, climbing
and reaching above head and shoulders repeatedly throughout the day
* Responsibilities may require climbing flights of stairs, working from heights, or on elevated
platforms
* Ability to wear assigned PPE (safety shoes, gloves, facemask, hearing protection and hard hat)
* Established skills so you can handle materials, operate equipment, and interface with
computer systems with precision
* Some roles (e.g., forklift operator) may be required to sit for a prolonged period and have
strong peripheral vision and depth perception

Working Conditions

* There is frequent exposure to production environments:
* Subject to loud and constant noise
* Non-environmentally conditioned spaces, which may lead to extreme hot and cold
* The operating environment is complex and densely populated with production equipment and forklifts
That necessitates high situational awareness
* Work overtime as needed, which may require 12-hour days, weekends, and holidays

Experience



  • 2+ years of supervisory experience a plus
  • 2+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in a high-speed manufacturing environment
  • Mechanical/ Electrical parts knowledge
  • Blueprint or parts diagram reading knowledge
  • ERP knowledge
  • 2 + years of Storeroom/Inventory experience



Level: 7

By pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role,, if hired, is $61,200 - 119,000.00 annually based on location and the candidate's experience level. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance. Certain sales positions are also eligible for car allowance
