Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. Production Supervisor Location: Cudahy, CA The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the production operations of the business location to ensure that cylinder gas needs of both internal and external customers are satisfied. What we offer you!

- Pay range: $66,450 - $97,460 yearly (commensurate with experience)
What you will be doing (3rd shift):
- Actively contribute to Linde's safety culture by ensuring plant operations are conducted in a safe and responsible manner, conducting incident investigations and safety meetings
- Remain compliant with all external regulatory agencies (FDA, DOT, EPA, OSHA, DHS) & company policies and procedures
- Manage cylinder gas production based on customer requirements and schedule raw material delivery as needed
- Support inter-company and route truck distribution of products to help ensure efficient, timely, accurate, and professional delivery to our customers
- Maintain stocking levels of finished product and raw materials to ensure production requirements and lead times are achieved
- Monitor asset usage and recommend cylinder purchases/increases to inventory as business demands change
- Support the security and appearance of the location and equipment
- Timely and accurate completion of all required reports (product inventory, cylinder inventory, expense reports, financial reports, KPI reports, payroll, ACMS Work Orders, etc...)
- Assist in implementation of Standard Operating Procedures as required or as revisions/changes are made
- Drive productivity and continuously find ways to improve work processes throughout the operation to maximize plant capabilities and operational efficiency
- Develop talent by coaching, mentoring, providing feedback, and creating growth opportunities to improve employee performance and drive organizational success
- Motivate team to meet metrics and achieve goals by delegating tasks that promote ownership
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
What makes you great:
- High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor of Science strongly preferred
- 1- 2 years of supervisory experience preferred
- Production/distribution experience required; industrial gas experience or equivalent preferred
- Knowledge of regulatory agencies including, but not limited to, FDA, DOT, OSHA, and EPA
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate and work effectively with customers, employees, and management
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft applications
