Detailed Position Information
The Department of Information Systems, Statistics, and Management Science at the Culverhouse College of Business at the University of Alabama invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant or tenured or tenure-track Associate Professor of Operations Management (OM) beginning August 16, 2025. Primary duties include teaching OM courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels where there are current and future needs, research interests compatible with those of the group's faculty and with potential for outstanding scholarly publications, and performing service as assigned by the department, college, and university.

Minimum Qualifications
(1) A doctoral degree in Operations Management or a closely related field (e.g.: Operations Research, Management Science or Industrial Engineering) completed by August 16, 2025;
(2) a high-quality research agenda, and current working/published papers in the field of Operations Management;
(3) evidence of interest and enthusiasm in teaching excellence.
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates with experience, desire, flexibility, and ability to teach a range of upper-level undergraduate & graduate OM courses, including MBA, are encouraged to apply. Preference will be given to researchers with interests that mesh well with the current faculty's research.
