Job Title: Admissions Recruiter, Bilingual (Spanish)

Location: Newtown Campus, Newtown, PA

Job Summary:

The Admissions Recruiter will assist in expanding student enrollment by developing relationships with high schools, community-based organizations, and prospective students while ensuring that all communications and recruitment activities reflect the mission and values of the College.

In this role, the Admissions Recruiter will actively recruit students from diverse backgrounds, particularly targeting Spanish-speaking communities within Bucks County and surrounding areas. This recruiter will also assist with international student recruitment. They will attend high school events, college fairs, and community outreach programs to promote the College. They will provide one-on-one guidance to prospective students and their families, ensuring they are informed about the College's academic programs, financial aid options, and admission requirements. The Admissions Recruiter will assist Spanish-speaking students in navigating the application and enrollment processes.

The Admissions Recruiter will assist with the development of bilingual marketing materials (brochures, email campaigns, social media posts, etc.) to promote recruitment events and the College's programs. They will also collaborate with the marketing team to ensure outreach strategies are inclusive and engaging.

As a member of the admissions team, they will develop and implement a recruitment plan to effectively build a strong pipeline of prospective underrepresented and bilingual students for each enrollment cycle. The Admissions Recruiter will work closely with other Admissions team members to ensure a seamless transition for students from prospective applicants to enrolled students.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Actively recruit students from diverse backgrounds, particularly targeting Spanish-speaking communities within Bucks County and surrounding areas. Attend high school events, college fairs, and community outreach programs to promote the College. Assist with international student recruitment.

  • Build strong relationships with local high schools, community-based organizations, and other educational institutions. Lead information sessions, workshops, and presentations in both English and Spanish to promote the benefits of attending Bucks County Community College with a focus on individuals from bilingual communities.

  • Collaborate with local community leaders, schools, and organizations to establish partnerships that enhance recruitment efforts and increase awareness of the College's services and programs.

  • As a member of the admissions team, develop and implement a recruitment plan to effectively build a strong pipeline of prospective underrepresented and bilingual students for each enrollment cycle. Work closely with other Admissions team members to ensure a seamless transition for students from prospective applicants to enrolled students.

  • Provide one-on-one guidance to prospective students and their families, ensuring they are informed about the College's academic programs, financial aid options, and admission requirements. Assist Spanish-speaking students in navigating the application and enrollment processes.

  • Maintain accurate records of interactions with prospective students and follow up appropriately. Track recruitment efforts, attendance at events, and results to ensure recruitment goals are being met.

  • Develop bilingual marketing materials (brochures, email campaigns, social media posts, etc.) to promote recruitment events and the College's programs. Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure outreach strategies are inclusive and engaging.

  • Assist with the development, organization, and execution of certain major recruiting events.

Salary Range: $50,618 - $54,500 (commensurate with experience)

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • At least three-four years of experience in college admissions, student recruitment, or a related field. Experience working in a diverse, community-focused environment is a plus.

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (both written and spoken) is required.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with students, families, and educational professionals. Comfortable presenting in front of groups and leading outreach activities.

  • Familiarity with admissions software, CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and social media platforms.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Flexible, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Sensitivity to the needs and concerns of a diverse student population, with a focus on the Hispanic community.

  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation, as travel to local schools and events is required.
