ACADEMIC PROGRAM SPECIALIST
The mission of the Helen Bader Office of Applied Gerontology is to promote optimal aging and strengthen connections with community partners by advancing opportunities in gerontology education, research and training for students, faculty, and the community.
Reporting to the Endowed Chair, Office of Applied Gerontology, this position coordinates certain education and program initiatives in the Office of Applied Gerontology (OAG). This position will collaborate with campus Schools and Colleges and the wider community to foster interdisciplinary growth and maturation of aging education and training initiatives. This is a 51% fixed term academic staff position.
Job Responsibilities
20% Coordination of the Graduate Certificate in Applied Gerontology (GCAG)
15% Coordination of Undergraduate Social Work Minor in Aging (MIA)
15% Coordination of the Undergraduate Certificate in Healthy Aging (UCHA)
15% Serve as Advisor of Student Gerontology Association (SGA)
15% Co-Coordinate with team members on OAG events
20% Other related duties
