Job Summary:

The role will involve monitoring all internal crude rare gas production in coordination with Messer Operations, ensuring alignment with production goals and standards. You will interact with key customers regarding current crude contracts and play a pivotal role in developing new or enhancing existing supply chains for rare gases. Additionally, you will implement and manage a comprehensive forecasting system to effectively balance supply and demand. Close collaboration with Laser Gas production facilities will be essential to optimize production and meet customer requirements.

Principal Responsibilities:



  • Supports and identifies opportunities for improvement of the current year profit performance for the rare gas business
  • Aligns tactical decisions with strategic plans
  • Helps monitors competitor activity by gathering feedback from Sales & Marketing and Operations teams
  • Provides input for decisions regarding purchases, manufacturing of crude
  • Coordinates all supply chain requirements between key crude customer(s), operations (both bulk and cylinder) and sales
  • Key contributor in rare gas inventory management
  • Responsible for data updates (costs, product availability, sources, etc.) on a regular basis
  • Provides day to day business development/sales support on pricing, product availability and key commercial terms
  • Cost savings analysis for rare gases
  • Participate and contribute for efforts in rare gas investments including pricing impact
  • Key participant in Sales & Operations planning process facilitating communication between Operations and Sales & Marketing.
  • Provides analysis and support to the annual planning/budget process
  • Provides analysis and support for product and pricing strategy, capacity planning, 3-year strategic plans and preliminary analysis for investment cases for Messer US
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Electronics manufacturing, Supply Chain Management or Rare Gas commercial industry
