About the team:

As part of our ClearanceJobs New Business Sales team, you will be a front-facing resource to help our constant mission of being the most indispensable career marketplace for the Department of Defense, Homeland Security and Intelligence contracting community along with the Federal Government agencies these companies support. We are responsible for adding new contractors and government entities that are in search of candidates that require a US Security Clearance. As part of our Sales Development team, you will be an extension of the Sales organization establishing prospecting plans for strategic accounts to uncover new business. Ideal candidates possess the aptitude to easily engage and establish rapport with executives and line of business professionals.

About the role:

As a Sales Development Representative - Outbound, you will generate qualified sales opportunities by responding to Marketing generated leads and targeted outbound prospecting.As a part of a collaborative and learning culture, you will be required to come into the office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and the first Thursday of each month.

You will play an integral part in the overall success of the business by prospecting marketing qualified leads to our Account Executives that drive new clients and provide benefits to the candidate community by offering new roles that may only be available in the ClearanceJobs marketplace.

What will happen once hired:



  • You'll complete our comprehensive onboarding/training program so you have the knowledge of our brand's products, services, and value propositions and the tools and support needed to close your deals
  • You'll learn the ClearanceJobs products and services to have quality conversations with potential customers
  • You'll develop new business by following up on leads generated by marketing campaigns and outbound cold-call generation
  • Establish and cultivate key relationships via the telephone
  • Work closely with internal teams to prospect and transfer leads generated
  • Every day you'll absorb competitive intel and learn how to handle common objections with targeted talk tracks


As you progress in this role you will:



  • Be productive and efficient with the technology stack we use on a daily basis (i.e. Salesforce, SalesLoft, ZoomInfo, Sales Navigator)
  • Consistently meet and exceed goals established by self and direct manager for setting initial presentation meetings

What you bring to the ClearanceJobs Sales team:

Required:



  • Experienced in cold-calling and prospecting with a hunter mindset and strong career aspirations
  • Resilient and competitive, thrives in team environments, handles objections/rejection, and prioritizes multiple work streams
  • Strong written/verbal communication, presentation skills, and the capacity to adapt and excel quickly
  • Proficient in Salesforce.com, Sales Engagement tools (e.g., SalesLoft, Outreach), and marketing lead nurture/qualification


Preferred:



  • SaaS sales experience

Denver pay range: Base salary/pay plus commissions at 100% of plan targets. Offer will depend on location and level of job-related knowledge, skills, abilities and experience.
$60,000 $75,000 USD
