THE JOB:

At Aria Resort & Casino, as a Baker, you'll play a key role in creating memorable guest experiences by showcasing your culinary artistry. From mixing and baking to crafting stunning desserts, you'll set the stage for excellence with every creation, combining your passion for baking with precision and skill. You'll collaborate closely with management, chefs, and service staff to address guest and team needs, ensuring that each indulgence delights our guests and elevates their experience.

THE STARTING RATE:$23.0911

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Prepare dishes, follow recipe and yield guides

• Assist in decorating cakes and pastries

• Maintain solid menu knowledge and attention to detail with plate presentation if applicable

• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas

• Ensure all requisitions are processed properly and placed in designated area

• Properly label and date products to ensure safekeeping and sanitation

• Set-up and break down work station

• Regularly runs for food and restock all kitchen supplies and food items required for service

• Communicate, direct and assist management, chef and service staff in order to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guests and employees

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• At least one year of experience as a professional baker in a high-volume, large production baking environment

• Extensive pastry skills, with experience in fine dining

• Proficient in a wide range of baking and pastry techniques

• Prior experience in a luxury environment and knowledgeable of a Forbes Travel Guide 5-Star and AAA 5-Diamond rating and their importance

• Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education

• Flexibility to work various shifts and hours as needed, including weekends and holidays
