Overview

LMI is seeking an Experience Research Designer to lead total customer experience research projects. The candidate will lead small teams to design, facilitate, and synthesize the research.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

    Design and execute quantitative and qualitative experience research projects from inception to completion
  • Set research scope appropriately and integrate into the broader context of the research plan
  • Have an expert level understanding of both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies and recommend appropriate research strategy
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews and engagement
  • Produce research artifacts including personas, task analysis, paint point documentation, workflows, and journey/service maps
  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders to deliver & communicate relevant research findings that resonate with cross-functional stakeholders


Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Masters in Human Factors, Psychology, HCI/Computer Science, or other related field(s) or equivalent practical experience
  • 10+ years of experience in Experience Research field
  • Specializes in multiple quantitative and qualitative UX research methods
  • Ability to collaborate and work across teams
  • Superb interpersonal, communication, negotiation and collaboration skills
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, independent and self-motivated, and results-oriented

Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership in the integration of experience research into product designs and design practices
  • Strong data analysis and experimental design skills
  • Expert understanding of the strengths and shortcomings of different research methods, including when and how to apply them during the product development process
  • Strong demonstration of driving impact through research

Target Salary: $119,646-$211,140. Disclaimer: The salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is not a guarantee of compensation.
