Responsibilities

Job Description: Responsible for the analysis of laboratory specimens and subsequent result reporting according to laboratory protocol
and procedures. Acts as general supervisor over assigned lab activities. Requires no direct supervision, able to work
alone.


Qualifications

Education: Baccalaureate degree in relevant science preferred.

Experience: 5 years experience as Medical Technologist (MT) or Clinical Lab Specialist (CLT). Four years
general Lab/multidepartment supervisory/lead experience required

Technical Skills: General Bench tech skills required to provide coverage in all areas of general lab. Skill set to
include all duties per CLIA description of Technical Supervisor and General Supervisor.

License/Certification Continuously certified as general supervisor under Nevada State Board required; ASCP/AMT or
equivalent registration preferred.

Other:
Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patient.
