Program Manager - New Jersey Autism Center of Excellence (NJACE) - Somerset, NJ

Job Overview:

The program manager is responsible for the management and implementation of all programs related to the New Jersey Autism Center of Excellence, NJACE. This includes the development of projects, the oversight of existing projects, and the measurement of outcomes for each specific aim. The program manager will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure program goals are met and that high-quality services are provided to individuals with autism and their families.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor s Degree in related field such as psychology, special education, or social work
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in program management
• Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and engage staff and volunteers
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders, including individuals with autism and their families
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective solutions
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards related to autism programs
• Ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders, both internal and external
• Passion for working with individuals with autism and their families

Preferred:

• Advanced degree
• Program management experience in the field of autism

Scheduling Requirements:

• Full Time
• 40 hours/week

Essential Functions:

• Develop and oversee programs related to autism, including program planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Manage program budgets, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and efficiently
• Develop and implement program policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including staff, volunteers, funders, and community partners, to ensure program success
• Provide leadership and support to staff and volunteers working in the NJACE program
• Develop and implement program metrics to evaluate program success and effectiveness
• Monitor and report on program outcomes to stakeholders and funders
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with individuals with autism and their families
• Stay current on research and best practices related to autism to inform program development and implementation
• Represent the organization in the community and at relevant events related to autism
