Repair Technician III (2nd Shift)

Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work ON-SITE with our client in Orlando, FL. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • Troubleshoots and repairs electronic equipment to component level by FAA regulations and company IPM (Inspections Procedures Manual)
  • Modifies equipment according to service bulletin or manufacturer documentation
  • Carries out prescribed procedures according to an established schedule
  • Receives training in the use of more specialized test instruments and learn advanced troubleshooting procedures
  • Follows specific layout and schematic diagrams to repair and maintain simple or advanced devices or subunits of equipment and schematic diagrams such as power supplies, oscillators, and amplifiers.
  • Review work orders to ensure customer-requested activities have been complied with before the release of the repair
  • Work is reviewed by a lead technician, supervisors, or inspectors
  • May work on alternative assignments with detailed written or oral instructions
  • Completes quality and repair paperwork, prepares estimates, and maintains maintenance documentation by current quality assurance requirements
  • Communicates with cross-functional departments as required to support the repair process
  • Participate in Technician cross training programs and be assigned to other teams for short- or long-term assignments
  • Completes repairs by company ISO procedures and within company objectives

Pay: $28.60 / hr.

Hours: 40 hrs/Week (2nd shift)

Length: Contract (12+ Months)

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in Troubleshooting and repairing to the component level on PCB/CCA assemblies (circuit cards)
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Speak, read, and write English fluently

Additional Information:

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
  • Moderate physical activity is needed by occasionally handling objects up to fifty (50) pounds or up to twenty (20) pounds.
  • Hand/finger fine motor skills and dexterity are needed for small parts and operating hand tools.
  • Repair Station environment may present elevated noise levels
