Position Title: Senior Copywriter (Contract Position) Location:Fully Remote The Opportunity: We are seeking a Senior Copywriter to join our client's dynamic marketing team, focusing on delivering impactful content that resonates with financial professionals and drives recruitment efforts. In this role, you'll utilize your marketing expertise, journalistic flair, and storytelling capabilities to craft and refine a variety of communication pieces and campaigns. Projects may include creating content for social media, digital platforms (websites, emails, landing pages), video/webinar scripts, and print materials. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to produce personalized, high-quality materials that engage prospects and contribute to business growth. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with subject-matter experts, internal teams, and external vendors to develop, refine, and improve marketing content showcasing the company's services, products, and communities.
- Uphold and evolve the brand's voice across multiple mediums and ensure alignment with visual designs.
- Produce engaging marketing materials such as emails, presentations, white papers, case studies, and other deliverables that align with recruitment and marketing goals.
- Conduct research on target audiences to understand their challenges, preferences, and needs, developing clear and compelling value propositions.
- Interview financial professionals to create success stories and develop new marketing materials based on their experiences.
- Generate thought leadership pieces by synthesizing ideas from trade publications, research, and industry trends.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions, refining language, communication strategies, and creative ideas with team members and stakeholders.
- Monitor competitor content to identify opportunities for differentiation and ensure the brand remains competitive.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and keeping stakeholders informed of progress.
- Be open to collaboration and feedback, continuously improving the quality and impact of content.
Qualifications: Required Skills and Knowledge:
- Proven portfolio showcasing a range of published work.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a focus on clarity, consistency, and impact.
- Strong organizational skills to handle multiple complex projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to write both long-form content (white papers, articles) and short-form pieces (headlines, social posts).
- Strong conceptual thinking to identify the core message and communicate it effectively.
- Collaborative mindset and the ability to engage with colleagues across all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
Preferred Skills and Knowledge:
- Experience in financial services or related industries.
- Familiarity with SEO and keyword optimization practices.
- Knowledge of Drupal or similar content management systems.
- Experience with marketing tools, especially Marketo Engage.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, creative writing, psychology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years as a senior copywriter or 7 years of professional copywriting experience.
