JOB MISSION:

New Balance's Digital Operations team is responsible for the ongoing development, operations and administration of our Global Brand DAM. This team owns and manages the asset creation process within the DAM, asset flow through the creation lifecycle and the analogous data, analytics, lifecycle and tag management. Digital Operations team members are also key partners in supporting the delivery of Go to Market content to global brand associates as well as deployment and flow of content across applications to support seasonal critical path GTM tools. This team executes day-to-day operations and drives the readiness and delivery of content throughout the creation and GTM lifecycles as part of our digital transformation. Digital Operations builds and supports the digital infrastructure, are ever ready collaborative partners to enable and drive an innovative digital product 'creation to consumer' future state for the brand.

As the Digital Operations Manager, your role will focus on managing DAM operations, from organization, security, User experiences, content validation, readiness and flow, analytics and lifecycle management. You are also a collaborative team leader working cross functionally with global associates, team leaders, IT partners, vendors and content creators to support the optimized use of our DAM investment and create the best user experience and value across all teams and use cases. With a focus on service, you will ensure we are building out and managing best practice processes to support delivery and availability of content. This includes ensuring asset type standards, aesthetic and data quality are continuously met. Building and maintaining relationships with global partners, internal and external is essential in ensuring we are delivering for all customers on our brand digital path forward.

This rolerequires ahybrid ofskills:ability to participate, influence and lead within cross functional teams, solution and action oriented with excellent critical thinking and communication skills, a strong working knowledge of DAMs, digital asset managementfundamentalslike schema mapping, metadata enrichment,data quality, management and reporting.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Responsible for the successful management of the asset/content handoff to production process; validation, creation, tag management, asset/data maintenance from creation to end-of-life for brand digital assets/content.

  • Oversee day-to-day operations and improve team performance using metrics.

  • Set clear goals, delegate tasks, and manage priority initiatives, acting as a critical liaison within the group.

  • Manage and drive high performance of DAM libraries and reporting tools to meet customer needs.

  • Key stakeholder, collaborator and partner in org for optimized use of DAM as a resource, tool and destination, supporting strategy on user experience, content use and flow, security management and reporting.

  • Responsible for the ongoing maintenance, management of DAM to ensure content and data are accurate, complete and as expected. This includes ongoing auditing, updating and lifecycle management, documentation, reporting.

  • Responsible for the creation and ongoing maintenance of workflow, training documentation, work instructions.

  • Additional support function requirements:

  • Act as a Digital Asset Management ambassador to drive training, use and improvement.

  • Monitor workflows, drive continuous improvement and efficiencies.

  • Manage suit of standard reports, including process KPIs for increasing delivery performance, asset quality, asset usage, process performance adoption, lifecycle management and workflow optimization.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:

  • 3-5 years' experience in DAM Operations

  • 5 - 10 years' experience in Footwear and/or Apparel operations, product creation or related functional roles a plus.

  • Data maintenance and management experience required.

  • Experience in project management, successful cross functional dependent work.

  • Business acumen and experience in digital asset creation and use, 3D design tools and technology across both Footwear and Apparel a plus.

  • Deadline oriented, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Advanced understanding of operations and business process management, methodologies, and principles clearly demonstrating achievements against the business needs.

  • Ability and aptitude to manage, coach and mentor others.

  • Strong Partner- engage with cross functional teams to be recognized as a trusted advisor and of support.Effectively influence relevant stakeholders.

  • Innovation- understand and get to the heart of a problem by challenging assumptions and digging deeper. Develop innovative options and drive innovative thinking around management and delivery of content, integration opportunities, UI experiences.

  • Consultative- understand the approach of building a successful team partnership;listen and question effectively to identify real needs.

  • Hybrid - this position is a hybrid role based in our Lawrence, MA office and required to be in the office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Flexible Work Schedule

Our North American hybrid model encourages rich in-person experiences, showcasing our commitment to teamwork and connection, while maintaining flexibility for associates. New Balance Associates currently work in office three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Our offices are fully open, and amenities are available across our North American office locations. To continue our focus on hybrid work we have introduced "Work from Anywhere" (WFA) for four weeks per calendar year.
