As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled Principal Compensation Analyst with expertise in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) to join our Human Resources team.

Overview:

The Principal Compensation Analyst will play a critical role in evaluating and integrating compensation structures during M&A activities. This position requires a deep understanding of compensation practices, market benchmarks, and the ability to assess alignment with Blue Yonder's policies. The ideal candidate will conduct thorough market research, participate in due diligence processes, and provide strategic insights to ensure competitive compensation packages that attract and retain top talent.

What You'll Do:

  • Evaluate compensation structures, including salaries, bonuses, equity programs, and other benefits, of the merging or acquiring companies to assess alignment with Blue Yonder policies and practices and market benchmarks.

  • Conduct market research to ensure competitive compensation packages.

  • Participate in the due diligence process to identify potential compensation-related risks and liabilities.

  • Provide insights and recommendations based on due diligence findings.

  • Analyze the financial impact of compensation changes and provide recommendations to management.

  • Develop and implement integration plans for integrating compensation programs.

  • Lead the evaluation of job roles and levels across merging companies, identifying and recommending changes to ensure consistency and equity.

  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements during the integration process.

  • Work closely with finance and legal teams to ensure alignment on compensation strategies and integration phases.

  • Communicate changes and updates to employees and management effectively.

  • Collaborate with external consultants or vendors to gather and interpret market data and best practices for M&A integration.

  • Develop and maintain compensation reports to track the progress of integration activities, providing insights to leadership on key metrics.

  • Support the creation of total rewards packages for key talent retention during the M&A process.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field and 4+ year experience in compensation analysis or a related field, without degree 8+ years' experience in compensation analysis or a related field.

  • Prior experience in compensation analysis is a must.

  • Experience working on the compensation side of M&A transactions is desirable.

  • Experience with data analysis and financial modeling.

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Knowledge of compensation principles, laws, and best practices.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

The salary range for this position is $105,262.00 to $132,738.00.

The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors. In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
