Work Schedule: Monday - Friday days (must also be available to respond in emergency situations on nights/weekends) Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Must be able to travel up to 30%
- First line of contact for Injury Case Management
- Works as a liaison between medical providers and Operations/HR
- Works with operations management to ensure PSC meets customer and site HSE requirements
- Provides HSE training, advice, and direction to all personnel
- Stops any job that is considered unsafe
- Intervenes when an unsafe act or condition is observed
- Provides safety training as required to employees
- Prepares and presents routine HSE Reports on activities and compliance to Business Unit Managers
- Stays up to date with any relevant changes to health and safety legislation
- Ensures sites understand PSC HSE standards and advises on training related issues
- Assists with Accident Investigations where appropriate
- Determine workplace exposures and conduct Industrial Hygiene monitoring
- Establishes and maintains a comfortable and desired relationship with customer safety contacts and medical service providers to remain updated on relevant information
- Completes any other duties as necessary in order to complete the assigned task
Job Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
- Stable work history with good references from past employers
- Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check
- Speak fluent English
- PSC is a veteran-friendly company. Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associates degree in occupational safety or a related field, or professional safety certification from an accredited source (OHST, COSS, etc.) preferred.
- Possess good communication (written /verbal) skills necessary to carry out the tasks
- Possess good computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Work Experience: Relevant HSE or operational work experience preferred
- Knowledgeable in OSHA Regulations and Injury Case Management
- The job requires flexibility because assignments may be undertaken with little or no notice and outside normal working hours.
