Staff Genetic Counselor Clinical Cancer Genomics Laboratory Full Time 83171BR Job Summary The Genetic Counselor will apply their clinical expertise to variant interpretation, reporting and other lab processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of genetics and genomics, as well as excellent communication skills, comfort with technical platforms, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $52.20 - $81.70 (Hourly Rate). The labs provide clinical genomic testing services in a wide variety of clinical areas with highly trained subspecialists who are recognized nationally and internationally for their expertise.
