TITLE: TN - Facilities Cleaner

POSITION OBJECTIVE: Maintains the facilities, equipment and grounds of and industrial property.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Maintenance Inventory Software, Work order System software
• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary
• Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Cleans floors, walls, ceilings and equipment with hand tools and mechanical means
• Mixes and uses approved cleaning chemicals and water
• Dust equipment and walls including high dusting using hand tools and or a vacuum cleaner
• Operates floor cleaning machine
• Properly handle and dispose of cleaning solutions
• Clean outside areas of trash and other debris
• Performs other chores as required

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions; risk humid conditions and high, precarious places
