Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Business Analyst with our client in the financial industry located in Addison, TX. This is a 12 + month contract position. Responsibilities: Understand stakeholder needs to help envision and create a solution to solve a problem Support cost/benefit analysis to align technology solutions to business strategy Gather and catalog functional, non-functional, and technical requirements for stakeholder requests Provide subject matter expertise within the business/technical domain to support scope and requirement decisions Determine the impact of modifications and enhancements to applications and assist with identifying integration points and the end-to-end solution design Ensure changes to the application are compliant with bank standards and policies Work closely with the vendor to ensure changes meet bank requirements including assisting with acceptance testing where needed Assist users and development teams in application testing and troubleshooting and may help with test planning and configuring test solutions to validate functional and system needs Document processes, procedures and workflows associated with applications Participate in continuous improvement efforts to create, analyze, and improve processes and solutions Create, maintain, and present training materials for end-users Contribute to artifacts needed for governance forums Understand stakeholder expectations and create regular updates to keep stakeholders informed Understands all roles and responsibilities within their team and uses the tool sets within the software lifecycle Work in a supportive and transparent team environment, while having the ability to research and resolve issues independently Requirements: Mid to senior level Business Analyst 3-5 years of experience (preferably in the financial industry), with a minimum of 3 years of experience with the agile methodology 3-5 years' experience as a business analyst, QA/UAT lead, scrum master, or project manager Experience working on a team with the Agile Methodology Requirements gathering into Business Requirements Documents, wireframes, epic and story writing, flow diagrams, data mapping, test plans, use cases and scenarios Experience with tools such as JIRA, SharePoint, WIKI, ALM for requirements and SDLC, knowledge sharing and documentation of requirements, and issue tracking Advanced problem-solving skills, the willingness to learn and ability to effectively and concisely communicate verbally and in written/presentation format Solid grasp on what it takes to deliver technical solution to resolve business needs Good communication skills and the ability to engage and influence teams across technology and the business Desired skills: Financial Services/Banking industry experience Claims experience Solution Delivery Process Demonstrate ability to identify root causes to solve complex problems in highly unstable situations Basic awareness of products, services, business flows and strategy Knowledge of software development but has not been involved in hands-on application development/coding Pay Range: $46.18 - $54.18 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
