Function:
Must develop, implement, and follow-up a production plan for complete coverage of assigned products from initial plan to completed product within a defined budget and schedule.

Willingness To Learn And Train On The Following:



  1. Review all customer orders within 24 hours of being released for material availability.
  2. Maintain the planned ship date in IFS to reflect the earliest ship date possible based on material availability and the month revenue targets are not exceeded.
  3. Achieve 98% on-time delivery for all spares orders.
  4. As customer orders are released for parts with shelf life, the remaining shelf life of available inventory must be reviewed and new inventory immediately ordered if current inventory does not satisfy the customers requirement.
  5. On a daily basis, review material availability for all customer orders planned to ship within a 4 week horizon and orders that require outside processing. This includes both material received from purchase orders and shop orders from the prior day. Release pick lists for all orders which material is available.
  6. Provide weekly reports to shop supervisors and managers identifying all shop orders required to be completed to support shipment of spares orders for a 4 week horizon or greater dependent on process time required.
  7. Review on a daily basis all pick lists for parts that have been rejected and put on the penalty shelf for disposition. This requires checking the Reject location in IFS and a visual of the reject cart in final inspection.
  8. Assure purchase orders are released to cover demand for all spares customer orders within four weeks of customer order being entered or within the lead time required for the part. Notify purchasing of all purchase orders that need to be expedited to ensure on time delivery of customer order. Follow up as required.
  9. Contact supplier or notify buyer to expedite all purchase orders that are past due that are required to satisfy a spares demand.
  10. Answer all requests from customer service relative to the status of spares orders and quotations. Requests for information should be answered within 48 hours and should not prevent completion of responsibilities identified as required daily.
  11. Weekly review of shop order requirements for cable assemblies including release and execution of OSP shop orders.
  12. Maintain and distribute status sheets for all shop orders for ALL spares all parts, detailing all part shortages. The status sheet must cover ALL parts promised to ship for a two-month horizon.
  13. All other tasks as assigned.



Qualifications:

Pursuing APICS Certification or Purchasing Management Association Certification. Knowledge of negotiating and price discount schedules. Knowledge of Company products a plus. Aptitude for numbers and budgets. Communication skills via telephone and in person.

Experience in being able to schedule work including tasking and time phasing the production plan.
