Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Project Manager with our client in the financial industry located in Kennesaw, GA, and Chicago, IL. This is a 12 + month contract position. Responsibilities: Manage the Jira tasks / stories and the scrum events for an agile team and work as the servant leader/ scrum master Facilitate meetings, capture key outcomes/actions and own product/ project documentation Drive Project deliverables to meet milestones Act as an enabler of tasks and assist the team with escalations, remove blockers Coordinate and manage stakeholder expectations and communicate effectively on project delivery Coordinate testing and release management tasks, facilitate and assist with deployment events Coordinate Tech tasks that require vendor coordination Assist with governance and compliance items to adhere to the Enterprise Policies and Standards to manage & mitigate risk Manage team capacity/ allocations based on budget and allocated funds Requirements: 5+ years relevant work experience with business and technology projects including process improvement/re-engineering and technology change efforts Knowledge of project tools (JIRA experience) User Acceptance Testing experience Experience with and knowledge of Agile project management methodology Process design oriented Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy Ability to facilitate meetings, capture key outcomes/actions and own product documentation Intermediate proficiency using Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and in Visio Strong decision-making skills with an assertive and proactive communication style Strong communication skills (verbal, written and presentation) and active listening skills Proficient in data management to include strong data analytic capability Strong organizational skills and be able to handle multiple tasks Enthusiastic, energetic, determined and positive especially under pressure Critical thinker and risk minded Desired skills: Scrum Master experience Agile SAFE certification Project management or process-oriented experience Pay Range: $52.10 - $60.10 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
