Salary:

FUCHS offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience in a similar position. The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000 per year, but actual salary will vary depending upon a new hire's experience and qualifications as well as inter-nal equity.



Your Responsibilities:


  • Supporting Sales in troubleshooting endeavors, new business opportunities, quality concerns and customer solutions support.
  • Generating and reporting technical data to support troubleshooting analyses & new business opportunities.
  • Interface with, and provide technical support to Quality Control, Quality Management, Research, Development & Innovation, Application Engineering, Product Management and Operations.
  • Perform routine and non-routine chemical tests on lubrication products.
  • Analyze and interpret test results, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
  • Reviewing and commenting on trend analysis data generated by technicians for Fuchs customer systems.
  • Maintaining acceptable turnaround times (as established by the Laboratory Supervisor of Tech-nical Services) for routine and non-routine analyses.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.



Qualifications we are looking for:

Required:



  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience working in a lab environment, preferably in a manufacturing facility.
  • Ability to communicate in a clear, credible, and effective manner to a wide variety of audiences.
  • Ability to approach problems creatively and "think outside the box".
  • Ability to work within a collaborative environment to provide the best possible service to custom-ers.
  • Knowledge of laboratory equipment and various analytical testing techniques.
  • Proficiency with using Microsoft 365 software for data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.



Desirable



  • Strong analytical chemistry background
  • SAP software experience.
  • Experience with XRF, ICP, FTIR, Karl Fisher, and other lubricants testing.
