Health Coach Division of Hematology/Oncology Part Time 83287BR Job Summary NAVIGATE is a Prostate Cancer Foundation-funded study that develops and tests an intervention for Black individuals with prostate cancer. The main goal of NAVIGATE is to help Black individuals and communities with advanced prostate cancer learn about "germline testing". Germline testing is a type of genetic test that finds genetic changes that have been passed down in families. Germline testing can change cancer treatment for individuals with prostate cancer, and also inform the risk of cancer in individuals and their families. The intervention pairs an artificial intelligence chatbot with a health coach. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $50,700 - $107,500 (Annual Rate). Currently, the Division has 86 Full-time faculty, 11 part-time and/or volunteer faculty, 29 ACGME and non-ACGME fellows, 22 post-doctoral fellows, 32 Non-faculty appointments and 48 administrative and research staff. The Division's primary research, clinical and teaching functions are primarily split between the Parnassus and Mission Bay campuses, although the faculty, fellows, and staff have appointments and clinical, research, and educational activities at ZSFG, and VAMC as well.
