Job Summary The Student Services Analyst ensures the integrity and effectiveness of the financial aid process, with a focus on financial aid literacy, default prevention, and detecting suspicious activity. This role develops, implements and presents in person Loan and Exit Counseling, educational programs on responsible borrowing, and repayment options. The Analyst collaborates with stakeholders to prevent loan defaults and applies strategies to identify and address suspicious activity. Additional duties include supporting day-to-day office operations, providing training, and resolving escalated student issues. The Analyst also handles high-level professional judgment appeals, verifies student enrollment for fund disbursement, analyzes program data, and ensures compliance with financial aid regulations. 25% Fraud Prevention
10% Conduct research on Title IV federal guidance and industry best practices to suggest and implement new strategies for the college and other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution and two years of student services or college teaching experience, or experience coordinating, administering, planning, or evaluating programs. OR An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation.
