Job Summary

The project manager will serve as the liaison to key UCSF leaders and will present to and collaborate with UCSF Health and UCSF-wide leaders.

The Project manager will develop innovative feasible interventions to improve outcomes for assigned projects and take on new related projects as this are of work continues to rapidly evolve. Ongoing project support will also include relevant regulatory compliance support, patient experience projects, financial and revenue growth projects and various Quality and Safety initiatives in collaboration with the executive leadership.

The Project Manager is broadly supportive of the physician leads in the unit as well as other assigned people.

The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.

Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.

The salary range for this position is $97,900 - $149,000 (Annual Rate).

Dr. Jackson-Triche's unit provides executive advising on organization and work culture, makes recommendations on structural and issues necessary to support organizational culture.

Required Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience
  • Advanced knowledge of common organizational- or research-specific and other computer application programs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and influence, both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrated ability working with complex datasets, and generating, maintaining and distributing data reports and analyses that tell the intended story
  • Ability to use discretion and maintain all confidentiality.
  • Advanced project management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability of thorough knowledge of organizational or initiative processes, protocols and procedures.
  • Ability to multi-task with demanding timeframes.
  • Advanced knowledge of applicable policy analysis techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability of advanced-level analytical / problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, PPT)
  • Demonstrated ability to build consensus amongst diverse groups of people

Preferred Qualifications


  • Master's degree in Healthcare Administration or Business
  • Epic / medical record data base experience
  • Experience developing and executing training programs
  • Experience collaborating with complex medical services/teams
