Pediatrics Practice Manager Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery Full Time 83303BR Job Summary Under the general supervision of the Assistant Director of Orthopaedics, the Pediatric Practice Manager will work independently and have primary responsibility for the supervision of administrative/clerical and clinical staff of the orthopaedic practice at the West Bay Ortho Pediatric Practice including Pediatric PM & R.The Practice Manager will be responsible for supervising the operational, human resource, regulatory and administrative tasks of the practice. The Practice Manager must have the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks and work well with staff, patients and providers. A high degree of independence, initiative, assertiveness, and diplomacy are necessary in delaying with faculty, staff and patients in a complex environment. The Practice Manager is responsible for fiscal accountability including managing labor productivity, over-time and non-labor expenses. The practice is located on the 5th Floor of Gateway Medical Building and other locations including satellites. The position will fully integrate with the practices of orthopaedics and collaborate closely with UCSF Pediatric Specialties and Benioff Children's Oakland practices. The incumbent is expected to work at all UCSF locations and may expand responsibilities to additional practices within Ortho. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $105,900 - $180,700 (Annual Rate).
