ESA seeks a highly motivated Principal Fish Biologist to join our Pacific Northwest Biological Resources and Land Management team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 20 years of salmon ecology experience including a combination of fish sampling and reporting, Endangered Species Act Biological Assessment writing, and working collaboratively on multi-disciplinary teams focused on habitat restoration planning and design. Additional experience with environmental permitting documentation and FERC relicensing is a plus. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a variety of municipal, tribal, and non-governmental organizations, and private clients. ESA has established multiple pay ranges tailored to the economic factors in the geographies in which ESA staff reside. For this position, the range is approximately as listed based on our anticipated hiring locations as noted in the above job details.
