Performs other duties as assigned within Accounting Department. Qualifications Other responsibilities include, but is not limited to: Reviews and submits bi-weekly Payroll for community employees accurately. Maintains employee records and interacts with Leadership and HR to ensure timely processing. Sets positive example for peers and reports any problems to the Director of Accounting Assists with month-end close, reviews and analyzes account balances. Assists Director of Accounting and auditors in annual financial and actuarial audits. Maintains an organized filing system and accounting office. Ensures resident files are maintained in accordance with Company Policy and Florida Office of Insurance Regulation (OIR) requirements. Adheres to all accounting policies and procedures. Safeguards the company assets by ensuring all internal controls are strictly adhered to. Applies basic community policies as they relate to accounting.
