Human Resources Intern

Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, is seeking a highly motivated individual to assist our HR department with a variety of tasks. This position is currently a full-time, limited-term (no benefits) for summer 2025. Hours are flexible and could continue to work during the fall semester.

Responsibilities include:

  • Data entry
  • Preparing presentations and/or benefits tasks
  • Running reports
  • Proofing/ editing documents
  • Researching employment-related laws and regulations
  • Tracking training attendance
  • Creating surveys and compiling results

The ability to maintain confidentiality is essential.

The successful candidate must have completed at least four semesters (six preferred) of college-level coursework in human resources or a related field from an accredited college or university.

The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all the following:

  • Previous HR internship
  • MS Office software programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • HRIS software (Paylocity a plus)
  • Experience with data entry
  • Research skills
  • Writing/proofing skills
