Job Title: Specialist Employee Relations Location: North Chicago, IL 60064 Duration: 04 months Job Overview: Executes the delivery of services to provide a single point of contact for efficiently providing highly accessible expert Employee Relations. Interfaces across multiple businesses and or countries and ensures compliance with all relevant country laws, regulations, polices and practices Duties: Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures. Provides expert consultative and problem solving services to managers, employees and other HR functions regarding HR policies and practices. Ensures compliance with all relevant country laws, regulations, policies and practices. Assists OEC and Security with investigations related to Employee Relations issues. Effectively and accurately maintains confidential ER data in both systems and paper files. Ensures professional service is provided at all times in accordance wit the ER Service Level Agreement. Executes elements of a defined project.Independently resolves Tier 1 cases, and manages Tier 2 with guidance from manager Understands customer's business and ER requirements. Proactively brings forward solutions to address business requirements. Meets defined ER service level agreement. Implements solutions as directed. When a problem has been identified, seeks help of others to resolve the issue. Completes project tasks within time and budget as directed. Education: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business or Employee Relations related field 2 - 4 years prior HR experience. Some business experience preferred.
