Position Overview

We are seeking a Threat Intelligence & Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Engineer with expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and GoLang to support Teramind and similar security applications. This role will focus on automating security infrastructure deployment, configuration management, and policy enforcement in a cloud-based environment using modern DevSecOps practices.

Responsibilities

Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & Automation

• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, CloudFormation, and GoLang-based automation.
• Automate deployment, configuration, and scaling of Teramind and similar security tools in AWS environments.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for security applications and policy updates.
• Implement GitOps workflows for infrastructure and security automation.
• Develop and maintain custom APIs and automation scripts using GoLang, Python, or Bash.

Threat Intelligence & DLP Management

• Manage Teramind rule development, deployment, and optimization using automated workflows.
• Automate log collection, analysis, and reporting across Teramind and other insider threat tools.
• Integrate Teramind with SIEMs (Splunk, ELK, AWS Security Hub) for real-time monitoring.
• Support security teams in threat detection, data loss prevention (DLP), and insider threat investigations.

Cloud Security & Compliance

• Ensure security tools align with NIST 800-53, FISMA, CISA directives, and DHS security policies.
• Automate audit logging, compliance enforcement, and security baselines using IaC.
• Implement role-based access controls (RBAC), policy-based access controls (PBAC), and least privilege models for Teramind deployments.

Basic Qualifications

• An Active Secret clearance required at the time of hire.
• Must be eligible for a Top Secret clearance with CI Polygraph with the willingness to undergo additional clearance processing if required during the project.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, or related field 3 years of equivalent experience
• 3 years of experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), DevSecOps, or Cloud Security Engineering.
• 3 years of experience with GoLang for automation, infrastructure management, or security tool integration.
• 3 years of experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible for infrastructure automation.
• 3 years of experience with AWS infrastructure security (IAM, Security Hub, GuardDuty, CloudTrail, etc.).
• 3 years of experience managing Teramind or similar Insider Threat/DLP solutions.
• 3 years of experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, ELK, or AWS-native solutions).
• 3 years of experience Scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), DevSecOps, or Cloud Security Engineering.
• AWS Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Solutions Architect, or AWS Security Specialty.
• Experience with zero-trust architectures and cloud-native security controls.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CEH, or Security+.
• Familiarity with federal cybersecurity policies (DHS 4300A, CISA guidelines, FedRAMP, etc.).
