MISSION: To install, troubleshoot, repair, modify and maintain manufacturing and facilities' equipment, tools and machinery. To perform work in compliance with applicable state and federal codes. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: 1. Maintenance, Installation and Repair 2. Planning (Marginal job function at SSBO) 3. Safety 4. Completes logs and records. 5. Provides work direction and training as assigned. Other (Marginal) Accountabilities: 6. Performs other tasks as directed. 7. May be required to participate in Hazardous Materials Spill Response Team. (Voluntary at LSBO and SSBO, required at TBO) ESSENTIAL EQUIPMENT, VEHICLES, TOOLS AND/OR MACHINERY USED: TRAINING: QUALIFICATIONS: 2. Valid driver's license required to drive PCC vehicles. 3. Ability to repair all vacuum, hydraulic, pneumatic, induction, heating, lubrication, abrasion, and pressure systems at PCC or a comparable facility. 4. Ability to read, interpret, and follow specifications on blueprints, drawings, technical manuals, work orders and other technical specifications. 5. Ability to assist other departments through planning and technical assistance processes. (LSBO and TBO only) 6. Ability to work independently with limited supervision. 7. Ability to provide working supervision, work direction, and/or training as directed. 8. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. 9. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations. (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) 10. Physical ability to perform the essential job functions.
