Accounts Payable Specialist Contract - Remote / Virtual

Insitu has an immediate need for an Accounts Payable contractor to join our team for a 6+ month contract. This role will be responsible for:

• Managing accounts payable using accounting software Costpoint and other programs
• Handling accounts payable for separate vendors
• Ensuring bills are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures.
• Processing due invoices for payments
• Comparing purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges
• Processing transactions and performing accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling books of accounts
• Processing invoices via the match two and match three process
• Support the month end close process, which may include journal entries and account reconciliations.

Required Education & Experience:

• High School diploma and 2 years of related finance experience.

Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience in an Account Payable role.
• Previous experience with Costpoint or comparable software program.
