Job Summary Support API issue campaigns, including developing and implementing plans to sequence proactive tactics to elevate issues, and identifying and engaging with allied voices. Serves as the daily manager for communications-led issue campaigns, tracking progress, making recommendations on strategy, and communicating results and important changes to senior Communications leadership. Collaborates with external and internal partners, including policy, mobilization and government relations teams to advance API advocacy priorities through integrated, strategic communications efforts leveraging paid and earned media. Supports the VP, Integrated Communications with strategic input on stakeholder engagement, including API's Communications Committee and Joint Trades initiative, as well as supporting with the department budget management and tracking.
