Materials Manager

Within our manufacturing facility in Lubbock TX- Leprino is seeking a Materials Manager to move our organization to an even larger level of dairy ingredient and nutrition growth! We take pride in our vision to be "world's best", it is why we work harder, invest more, and continually innovate.

  Provides leadership in the Materials department by implementing and maintaining programs in technical training, safety, quality, communications, performance recognition, and internal employee development to drive peak employee productivity.

  Responsible for managing, monitoring, and coordinating ingredient and packaging materials as well as non-stock items to maintain production operations.

  
  
• 
  

  Coordinates, monitors, and negotiates external materials services for the plant.

  
  
• 
  

  Manages the Materials department budget within established guidelines, meeting financial objectives.

  
  

You Have At Least (Required Qualifications):

• 
  

  College Degree in Logistics, Warehouse Management or related field, or equivalent work experience.

  
  

• 
  

  8+ years of experience in food manufacturing materials management environment, additional education may substitute experience where applicable

  
  
• 
  

  2+ years of progressive leadership experience

  Direct leadership experience over supervisors
