Application Window Open date: July 16, 2025 Most recent review date: Friday, Aug 29, 2025 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Friday, Feb 27, 2026 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description The Department of Sociology offers new Ph.D.'s from the UC Davis Sociology Department the opportunity to apply for one-year, non-renewable appointments as Recent Ph.D. Lecturers. This program is housed entirely within the Department of Sociology, and Recent Ph.D. Lecturers will teach Sociology courses exclusively. The number of positions and the percentage of time offered will depend upon funding and the number of courses available. These Recent Ph.D. Lecturer appointments are for one year only.
