The Merchandise Analyst supports the Merchandise Manager in executing assortment strategies, analyzing product performance, and maintaining product data across brands and markets.
This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional with strong Excel skills and a background in retail, buying, or merchandising support who is eager to develop their merchandising expertise. The role combines data analysis with product exposure, offering hands-on experience in how assortments are built and how product decisions drive business results.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Support day-to-day merchandising activities across brands and markets
  • Prepare retail sell-through reports (sales, inventory, SKU productivity) with a focus on accuracy and insights
  • Maintain SKU and product data, ensuring accuracy and consistency across systems
  • Assist in creating assortment overviews, product summaries, and visual recaps
  • Support monthly reporting, market recaps, and performance summaries
  • Gather competitive and market insights to support merchandising discussions
  • Manage product samples, including tracking, organization, and presentation support
  • Partner with the Merchandising team on seasonal initiatives and ad hoc projects
  • Provide general operational and administrative support (reports, presentations, coordination)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 1-2 years of experience in retail, merchandising, buying, planning, or a related field (including internships)
  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas, data organization)
  • High attention to detail, especially with product and item-level data
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to work with sales and inventory data to identify trends and insights
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred

  • Exposure to merchandising, assortment planning, or product analysis
  • Experience working with product assortments, SKUs, or retail data
  • Strong interest in product, merchandising, and consumer trends, with a curiosity for what drives product performance
  • Experience in a retail or multi-brand environment

  • Early signs of merchandising instinct (e.g., interest in trends, product storytelling, or retail performance)

What to Expect in This Role

  • This is an Excel-heavy role where much of the day-to-day work involves data, reporting, and product information management
  • It is a great entry point into merchandising, offering exposure to product strategy and assortment decisions over time

The hourly rate for this position is $28.85 . The rate is determined by individualized factors such as experience and market location.
