• Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.
• Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.
• Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team.
• Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.

About the unit:

• 23-bed Orthopedic Unit specializing in treating the musculoskeletal system
• Includes joint replacement, orthopedic trauma, back and spine surgery, orthopedic oncology, foot and ankle surgery, hand and upper extremity surgery and sports medicine
• Staff has the opportunity to help patients to restore mobility and strength that they did not have before

* Position: 36 hours per week
* Shift: Days 12 Hour Shifts

* Every other weekend and Holiday Rotations
